I’ve been a little distracted lately by the World Cup and as a consequence have been guilty of not updating this blog. I’m still going through the whole house selling process which is taking an age and to be honest I could do without. The last few items of furniture that are going have finished on eBay today so at least they’ll be gone shortly. It doesn’t leave me with any storage space for my clothes mind you, but hey … I’m sure I’ll manage!
My big sister has done me a favour by taking the bed and bedside units which means they’ll need to get to hers somehow, but will stay at my parents for now as it’s closer to me. I’ve been stuck in the house for the past couple of weeks tidying up odds and sods, and attempting to pack what I don’t need.
Of course I’ve been watching the World Cup too, and happy that England have progressed through the group stage and onto the knockout stage, however it is still undecided who we will face.
I’ve finally managed to sell my car too, or at least had an offer from the local garage once I get the V5 back having just transferred off my cherished plate to keep for future use. I’m a bit gutted about it though as it is my dream car, a Porsche 911 GT3, but there’s no point in keeping it if I’m not working and also away for months.
On the traveling front I’m going to do Central America before returning to London in November for my course, and then go back to do South America. I’ve been getting the vaccinations done in the last few weeks which has made me feel a little off top form but seems to have subsided now.
I will write more once the house sale has completed, so it may be a couple of weeks … bye for now.
